Although artificial grass is less troublesome than natural grass, proper daily maintenance can further extend its service life and keep it in good condition.
We have compiled a set of simple and easy-to-operate maintenance tips to help you protect the greenery beneath your feet.
Don't neglect daily cleaning: For outdoor areas, it is recommended to use a soft-bristled brush or vacuum cleaner to remove fallen leaves and dust every week to prevent the accumulation of debris from affecting drainage. When encountering stains such as fruit juice or oil stains, wipe them promptly with neutral detergent and warm water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. It is strictly forbidden to use strong acid or strong alkali cleaners.
Pet feces should be cleaned up in a timely manner. Solid parts should be removed with a shovel, and liquid parts should be rinsed with clean water. Pet-specific disinfectants can be used to remove odors.
Regular inspection and maintenance: Check once a month if the grass fibers are fallen over. You can use a hard-bristled brush to comb along the direction of the grass fibers to restore their fluffiness. Check the joints for any delamination every quarter. If there is a small area of cracking, contact professionals for repair in time. Avoid direct contact of sharp objects (such as scissors and shovels) with the lawn to prevent damage to the grass fibers.
When there is snow accumulation in winter, gently sweep it off with a broom. Do not use hot water to melt the snow to avoid damaging the bottom and back.
By following these maintenance points, the service life of our artificial grass can be extended by 2 to 3 years.
