Preliminary planning: Select environmentally friendly and durable products
Give priority to lawns made of recycled materials, such as those made from recycled plastic bottles and used tire rubber. Make sure to choose lawns with environmental protection certifications, such as FIFA environmental protection certification and EU CE certification, to strictly control harmful substances. Although highly durable lawns are costly, they can extend the service life and reduce the frequency of replacement.
During the event: Scientific maintenance and usage
Regularly comb the grass to prevent the grass fibers from falling over, and promptly clear away debris to avoid foreign objects getting embedded and affecting performance. Strictly plan the usage time and scope, prohibit non-event heavy equipment from running over, control the flow of people, and prevent excessive wear and tear of the lawn.
Post-event handling: Recycling and reuse
Lawns that still have practical value can be dismantled and moved to school or community sites for continued use. When the lawn reaches the end of its service life, it is recycled and disassembled. Materials such as grass fibers and rubber particles are processed separately to make new plastic products, running tracks and floor MATS, etc.
Through sustainable measures throughout the entire process, artificial turf can not only ensure the quality of events but also promote the green development of the sports industry.
